Chess club Rókur is pleased to announce that Janus Open will once again be held from 8–10 January 2027 at Kolshøll in Eiði.

Janus Open is more than just a tournament. It is a moment of remembrance, a community, and a platform where chess, friendship, and respect are at the center. With Janus Open III, we continue to develop the event and aim to create a high-quality and meaningful chess weekend for everyone.
